“You are so much more than a stunning face, Dylan. You’re the man I’ve fallen in love with.”
OMG! I fell in love with Ace and Dylan in Aced, and yep, that love is definitely cemented as one of my all-time favorite book couples after reading Locked! OK, so let me just say there is NO CLIFFHANGER but, there is definitely another story yet to be told and I cannot wait. Even through it all, all of the judgment, all of the paparazzi, everything, Ace and Dylan come through and grow as both individuals and as a couple. I really hope that Brenda gets what she deserves in the 3rd installment and I sure would be nice if Ace’s parents get put in their places. I so wanted to slap his mom, ok, both his and Dylan’s mothers! (Not Sunshine, the other one). And Alejandro, he’s getting his own book, right? Pretty please? So Ella and Brooke really did a wonderful job yet again with their combined efforts and I cannot wait until next year some time when we get the third and final installment of Ace and Dylan. Their writing styles definitely mesh well and the end result was a well-blended, smoothly written book. If you didn’t know that it was written by two women, you definitely would not be able to tell as the flow of the book is seamless and smooth.

This book picks up exactly where the first book left off, so if you haven't read that book, stop reading this review right now because there will be spoilers from the first story.
So, in this book, Ace and Dylan are still dealing with the backlash from the expose about their relationship. Ace is losing jobs right and left, but the notoriety has actually done some great things for Dylan's modeling. On top of all the mental strife that is causing, now they are also having to deal with the crazy intrusive paparazzi every time they turn around. Things are a little stressful which is hard on any relationship, much less one as new as theirs is.
The one thing that I truly loved about all the places that this story went (and it did go all over the place...including those awful scenes with Dylan's mother)...I loved that Ace never ONCE faltered in his commitment to Dylan. That makes him an incredible hero...because this relationship is ruining everything for him, but he still refuses to even consider giving Dylan up. I LOVED THAT SO, SO MUCH!
That's what makes these stories so good...truly Dylan and Ace are perfect together (that and the omg, hotter than hot visuals the authors paint of the two guys...happy sigh).
I just love this series and am already listening to the third and final book in the series.

Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine together are deadly, deadly for your heart and your ovaries. They certainly go for the jugular in Locked and delivered a swoony read from start to finish. Despite the highs and lows in this book I had a permanent grin, I giggled, I swooned, I laughed but most of all I loved and loved hard.
Sometimes though even the closest couples have a little miscommunication…
“Are you trying to say you want me to knock you up? Because, Dylan, I have to tell you, I have some pretty powerful boys at work, but no amount of horny goat weed is gonna make that happen.”
I laughed…hard!
Locked continues on from Aced with the whistle well and truly blown on Ace and Dylan’s relationship. Ace is naturally worried about the implications and repercussions this will have on his relationship with Dylan insofar as will Dylan will be able to cope with the notoriety, the paparazzi and untruths that the media will now frenzy upon. Dylan though steps up to the plate in more ways than one as it seems that Ace has more to worry about than him.
“You, Dylan Prescott, are worth every scandalous thing that’s about to be written…”
Dylan takes everything in his stride despite the pressure he now finds himself under, the love he has for Ace is the one anchor he needs to keep himself tethered to reality. Having been outed as the other half to Ace Locke, Dylan’s career is propelled into the stratosphere yet Dylan cannot help but feel that these opportunities are only coming because of Ace and if that’s the case, he doesn’t want them.
Ace’s career is on the opposite path, it seems Hollywood cannot palate a gay action hero and his contracts are tumbling away day by day. Ace knew it would be bad but he just didn’t realise how bad it could get. Like Dylan though, all Ace needs is his better half and it is these situations they find themselves in that really lead to some extremely tender moments and really reiterates just how much in love these two really are.
Between an intense love, homophobic movie makers, a trip to the beach, paparazzi and a piece of dirt that comes back to haunt them, this book has everything and more. So many highs and lows, fantastic dialogue and a story that will have you frantically turning pages just so that you can eat up every word as quickly as possible. A relationship that is so damn swoon worthy that you cannot help but will these two along to the happily ever after they so richly deserve. There are so many scenes I could pin point but I don’t want to spoil anything but what I will say is that the ending was absolute PERFECTION. It has been a long time since I have cried happy tears, but such is my intense character connection to these two men that those tear ducts never stood a chance.

So the question on everyone’s tongues…is this the end of #PresLocke? NO!!! We get more!! And judging by that ending I am literally on the edge of my seat shouting gimme, gimme, gimme. This was not a cliff hanger ending by any means, some may say cheesy, but I say very Hollywood, but an ending that will just leave you wanting more. Just more of everything #PresLocke.
